MINNEAPOLIS, August 31, 2009 — Leading Twin Cities-based business technology consulting firm DBI Consulting is pleased to announce two new hires: Scott Hayman as Practice Director and John Haugen as Director of Business Development.

Prior to joining DBI Consulting as Practice Director, Scott Hayman was Senior Vice President, Customer Applications at GfK Custom Research North America. He has 26 years of engineering and computing experience in the manufacturing, chemicals, medical devices, machining, financial services, government, education, mortgages, and market research industries. At DBI Consulting, Mr. Hayman will be responsible for ensuring solutions are delivered successfully for clients regardless of the technology required.
Mr. Hayman holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rochester.
John Haugen joins DBI Consulting with extensive strengths and experience in identifying opportunities and introducing IT solutions that support changing customer needs. He comes to DBI Consulting from IBM, where he spent the past year selling Enterprise Asset Management software to Industrial Sector accounts in seven states. Prior to DBI, Mr. Haugen also held key sales positions at companies including CCH Tax & Accounting, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) and System Software Associates (SSA).
Mr. Haugen has been a top producing sales professional throughout his 28-year career. At DBI Consulting, he will be responsible for business development with the highest client satisfaction.
Mr. Haugen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Winona State University.
