Web-based taxpayer registration system for
government organization
A state government needed to replace its outdated taxpayer registration system
with a web-based system to more efficiently resolve of taxpayer questions and
adjustments. DBI helped design and develop the new system, which replaced an
IBM Mainframe/COBOL system with an AIX/Java-based platform.
DBI specifically designed, developed, tested and implemented all wrapper
classes (and stateless session beans) to enable communication between Weblogic
Server and Weblogic Enterprise. DBI also developed a security system for the
application (both front- and back-office). As a result of this project's
success, the security application will now be used by all new applications written
by the department.
