Scott Lien, CEO and founder of DBI Consulting, brings over 20 years of IT consulting experience to DBI clients. For over two decades, he has lent his expertise to companies in the manufacturing, retail, health care/medical and financial services industries and has assisted numerous businesses in managing resources, developing and designing applications, and implementing IT solutions. Scott is responsible for creating a consultancy with a culture of excellence and innovation.

Prior to forming DBI, Scott worked in technical leadership roles at Carlson Companies, and Travelers Express (now Moneygram), and as a business practice leader at CICS.

In accordance with DBI's values, Scott is very active in his community, serving on his church education board, child safety task force, council and pastoral call committee. He is also involved in a mentoring program for seventh, eighth and ninth graders. From May to October, Scott enjoys spending his free time boating with his wife on Lake Superior and hopes to someday cruise all of the Great Lakes.
